About
A small assurance desk for payment-heavy fintech
Harbor Ledger Assurance grew out of settlement operations work in northern Taiwan — the kind that starts when a float account will not close and ends when a board asks who owned the break.
Origin
The firm formed after years of helping remittance and electronic payment teams prepare control evidence for licenses and investor rooms. We kept seeing the same pattern: polished narratives, incomplete tie-outs. Harbor Ledger Assurance exists to test the tie-outs.
How we work
We take a limited number of concurrent engagements so sampling stays thorough. Fieldwork prefers primary documents — bank files, processor settlements, fee tables — over second-hand summaries. Findings name owners because remediation without a name rarely closes.
Relation to Taiwan
Our office sits in Keelung. Most clients operate payment or remittance activity that clears through Taiwan banking days, even when their customers sit elsewhere. Holiday lag, corridor concentration, and FSC licensing evidence are ordinary vocabulary here, not exotic edge cases.
